TinLizzie18 Machine Warranty
TinLizzie18 promises the purchaser of this TinLizzie18 sewing machine to repair or replace any part, at TinLizzie18’s option except exclusions as noted, of this sewing machine which proves to be defective in workmanship or material under normal personal, family, or household use, to the extent here stated. Any cables that the Purchaser needs to connect must be connected with care. Careless connection or disconnection may result in damage to the cables and/or components that the cables are connected to. Such damage is not covered under warranty.
Persons Entitled to Warranty Coverage – This warranty is made only to the original purchaser who acquires this sewing machine for his or her own use from a TinLizzie18 authorized dealer.
Duration of Warranty – The duration of this Warranty is 5 years from the date of purchase by the purchaser, and included electrical components which include light cord assembly, motor, terminal and electrical parts is warranted five (5) years from the date of purchase.
Parts and Conditions Not Covered by Warranty – Needles, light bulbs, and belts are not covered by this Warranty. This Warranty does not cover conditions unrelated to the material or workmanship of the sewing machine. Such unrelated conditions include, but are not limited to: (a) damage caused by electrical current or voltage other than that stamped on the name plate of the sewing machine; (b) damage resulting from the failure to provide normal maintenance; (c) failure to follow TinLizzie18’s instruction for use of the sewing machine; and (d) any accident to, or misuse of any part of the sewing machine; and (e) any defects or damage caused by service or alteration by anyone other than a TinLizzie18 authorized dealer.
TinLizzie18’s Obligation Under Warranty – During the first (1) year from the date of purchase, both parts and labor will be provided free of charge. Thereafter, parts only will be provided free of charge in replacement of defective parts. Any item which is replaced will not be returned to the Purchaser and becomes the property of TinLizzie18. Any charges incurred for shipping or labor in installing parts after the first (1) year of the Warranty are the responsibility of the Purchaser. TinLizzie18 authorized dealers are available to perform such labor at a reasonable charge. In the event that a TinLizzie18 authorized dealer fails to provide satisfaction for a warranty claim, the Purchaser should contact TinLizzie18 at the address shown below.
TinLizzie18 does not authorize any person or dealer to create any warranty, obligation or liability other than that contained herein.
Procedure to Obtain Performance of Warranty – To obtain the benefits of this Warranty, the sewing machine or part believed defective must be delivered during the period that this Warranty is in effect, to the TinLizzie18 authorized
dealer from whom it was purchased. If at the time of purchase the Purchaser resided within 50 miles of that dealer’s location, and the Purchaser subsequently moved to a residence more than 50 miles distant from that location, then the warranty service will be provided by the TinLizzie18 authorized dealer nearest to the Purchaser’s current residence. A TinLizzie18 authorized dealer may be located through the TinLizzie18 website www.tinlizzie18.com or by contacting TinLizzie18 at the address shown below. The defective machine or part delivered for warranty service must be accompanied by this Warranty card with the warranty card having been registered with TinLizzie18 and proof of date of purchase (a charge or credit receipt, a bill of sale.) All charges incurred in delivery of items for performance of warranty service and in picking up items after warranty service has been completed must be paid by the Purchaser.
Limitations on Relief – In NO EVENT SHALL TINLIZZIE18 BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY PURCHASE, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
